Diwali-Mother

Image
As a kid every past year, the reoccurring Diwali means just same fascinating crackers, mesmerizing lights and yummy sweets and new cloths for me, but today as an young-adult who just stepped into the real world, when ever I think back about the festival of lights with a deep perspective, what i see is an occasion to evacuate the darkness and coldness from our life that we have been enslaved to in terms of surrender to our ignorance and imprisoned to the chains of social and personal en slavery with low self esteem and discrimination, Mother-by vedavyas No one else in this world can understand you more than your mother, she is source of light and life, she breaks the coldness of cowardice with her warmth love as encouragement and she enlightens our brains by wiping of our tears and sweeping out our ignorance .remember how a noble dramatic Indian mother blesses her child by adoring him/her with a veer-thilka on one auspicious day called Dussersa(vijaya dasami) and then she awaits

Odissi Krishna.

Image
As told by Odissi guru shri Sri Vishnu Tattva das, In ancient India the temple was the center of learning, culture, religion and art. In Orissa, in north eastern India, in the temple of Lord Jagannath, "Lord of the Universe", religious rituals, music, and dance were combined together to create the highly sculpturesque and devotional dance style, Odissi. According to archeological evidence, Odissi is one of the oldest surviving dance forms of India, dating back to the 1st and 2nd century BC; Mahari legend and oral tradition hold that its origins date back even further. In the Natya Shastra, an ancient text on music, dance, and drama, considered to be the 5th Veda, the sage Bharata Muni describes Odissi as the dance from Odra-Magadhi and Utkal, the traditional names for the region now known as Orissa. The graceful and flowing movements of this art form have been captured in stone in many temple sculptures throughout Orissa.   Painting of Odissi dan

The Great Indian caste system

Image
As its the time to revise our opinion on the Great Indian caste system our ancestors created the caste system not to discriminate or to dominate the one person by other but the true intention is to departmentalize the duties so that the business market and social bonds are kept prosperous. yes, that's the rule even rich king will stay shelter less without house builders in that era where money has no value but the labor, people used to exchange their goods in order to survive. employment was ample and natural resources were not wasted because there was a huge respect to words the environment and they used to worship the nature as mother Prakruthi or Parvathi and anatomical elements as gods, vayu the wind, Agni the fire, Bhoomi as earth, Varsha as rain and  rivers as Ganga Brahmins give education to the farmer's children in return of rice. cobbler trades footwear where as  potters pottery. carpenters trade their woodwork where as black smith and gold smith th

Evaluation must be based on Eligibility!

Image
we do evaluation in every aspect of out life to choose a friend,a life partner,an employee and a leader of course. evaluation is mandatory but its sad to say that today evaluation is biased That's right! evaluation is being done based on race, religion, caste, gender and geographical area they belong to the maximum extent evaluation now takes height, age and color as inputs. but which is false, because these physical barriers hides the individual's true eligibility  and the evaluators true consciousness. the point of being secular is to be unbiased in judgements, which is the baseline for true humanity. Ancient Indians adopted the principle of secularism from the great saints who preached "god is one and all humans and living beings are his own creations" which created a golden era. but as time passed, in order to rule a community, non-social powers which invaded India years ago have applied "divide and rule " principle. as the sensitive citizens got

lessons from asian movies!

Image
though initially i wasn't a admirer of Japanese,Korean and Chinese movies after waching some of the best animated versions of asian novals into movies, they changed my analysing perspective dramatically. the following are some points that i noticed which made me facinated towards their style of living 1.discipline and patriotism of citizens is admirable 2.respect for elders and love for young 3.care for seniors, poor and animals. 4.mannerly body languages 5.presence of mind while dealing with others 6.ethical fellowship at family and social gatherings mantaining standerd of relationships. 7.curiosity towards inventions 8.art and heritage. 9.control on emotions like sorrow, strength, bravery and love. 10.clean and green homing ,sustainable development. finally no one want to be a all-rounder but wish as well as struggle to become the best in what he or she pursuing .

Literature touch for expressing emotions!

Poem from " Kokuriko-zaka Kara"-by Hayao Miyazaki a Japanese Movie/Novel. "Across the shining sea, A ship disappears in the sun light its horn trails a note of fare well if i walk down the gentle slops will i feel a breeze the color of summer? My love is a melody, i sing it high and low. My love is a seagull, that soars and swoops. If i call out to  you at twilight, will i see you there my sweet? swaying branches along the path, leave farewell shadows on the ground. A weather vane rooster, an old chapel, will i see a city steeped in summer hues? Yesterday's love is my tears they dry and vanish with time. Tomorrows love is a refrain, words without end. If we meet at twilight will you hold me in your arms?" thanks for reading. cheers, veda.

Now,listen !

You know i am not one that preach ;) But i have some advice that i want you to always remember in your lifetime, you're going to meet lot of idiots if some one hurts you, tell yourself its due to their lack of intelligence.that way you'll never sink down to their level. because there is nothing worse in this world then bitterness and revenge. never lose sight of your dignity. always stay true to yourself Never forget who you are and where you comes from .

THE CROODS

Image
The movie that i have watched today named "The Croods" is the animated story of the family of a cave man and their adventures during continental drift i am totally impressed  by the story , choreography and music score. i would like to rate it 7.5 on the scale of 10 though the story resembles same with most of fictional stories but it has some special points to ponder. don't restrict yourself with rules, experiment and give way to change and be synchronized with surroundings. ideas are generated with requirement i,e when mind gets exposed to environment. though love among family members especially from father is expressed in terms of anger and strict rules ,we young-adults mistake their care for their stupidity. stay close to nature ,don't run away from it if sun sets in one side it doesn't mean you to drown in darkness...it is to give light from other side its life and its true believe in true  don't stop thinking you are alone, just walk towards tomo

Note them down!

Image
As an artist, one need to preserve his canvas. a musician need to record his renditions. an educationist even have to note his learning on paper with pen else their talent and knowledge goes no where. i used to feel like "i 'll preserve it in my heart rather than on paper" and i used to convince my self "i don't need a camera where if i can preserve every moment in my brain" which is utterly a strong misconception as a kid, teen i never recorded my sketches never proved as artist never recorded my stage shows never showed up as actor never recorded my renditions and concerts and never certified as musician same the case with my news articles, literature essay, never preserved now as a 20 yo  i realized that "so called graceful comments and compliments from our friends and well wishers though morally how imp they are ...technically they are not counted when it comes to merit ,certification and identity " to be precise, memories vanish

Patam,Guna-patam

Image
My life can be a Lesson or an Inspiration to others. yes there is a lot of difference between lesson and inspiration A lesson which is a life of Warnings and precautions of failures where as An Inspiration is the Life of plans and strategies of success as keeping this point in mind i would like to add apoint to my diary "Don't ever feel like you have lost a moment or wasted a minute after it has gone because weeping is just a waste of time !! learn from past, plan the future and execute in present "

Satyam vada; dharmam chara

Image
The Legendary Dharmic principle behind our ancient country’s heritage and prosperity   This is also one of the important aphorisms enunciated by the ancient gurus of India.   It literally means 'Speak the truth, pursue Righteousness”   But the current generation misunderstood it to” kill the truth and prison the wisdom “ And we all can see its consequences :(

kahat kabir suno bhai sadho !!

"moko kahan dhundhe bande   main to tere paas hai" Where do you search me?  when I am with you Not in pilgrimage, nor in icons  Neither in solitudes  Not in temples, nor in mosques    Neither in Kaba nor in Kailash  Where do you search me?  when I am with you moko kahan dhundhe bande   main to tere paas hai !! as sant kabir das says ... Where our faith is, there is god kabir's literature is a true eye opener...even to modernized civilians His words reminds us that we are humans He laid a bridge of brotherhood between Islam and Hindus He preached god is not in a religion, god is every where even in our hearts :) such a beautiful rendition by lata ji (link here http://www.dhingana.com/na-main-dharmi-na-hi-adharmi-song-anmol-bhajans-by-lata-and-jagjit-hindi-2aaef31 ) a perfect message for us all who are still believing in stones and wool instead of believing that god is in ourselves and we are all same :) prayers f
