India got a mighty heritage in respecting women and motherhood

Indians worship India as a "mother" Bharathi,
power as a mother Shakthi,
knowledge as a mother Sarawathi,
prosperity as a mother Laxmi,
and the rivers which enhanced  civilization and life are names after women Ganga, Godavari, Saraswathi, Shabari etc
According to great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata
in Tretayug ...for kidnapping and teasing a woman(Sita),lord Rama along with vanarasena(army of apes) defeated demon king Ravana and destroyed his dynasty,
in Dwaparayug ....for insulting and teasing a woman(Drupati) ,lord Krishna along pancha pandavas
destroyed wicked Kuru brothers and their dynasty

thats how we respect our to our mother,sisters and loved ones.
thats how we respect women in India

but now in kaliyug the things are changing because of another unsocial powers like obsession towards wealth,senses,anger and in took birth society
in order to keep the heritage of our nation and our pride,we must not keep quite waiting for another ram ji or Krishna ji we have to protect our selves and our surroundings not to effected by such harmful activities,
just by Strengthening our minds and cultures.


Respect women and keep our nations pride at top :)

Varalakshmi Vratham is a festival of goddess Lakshmi,holy mother of prosperity.Varalakshmi is one who grants boons (Varam).pooja is very prominent south Indian custom .'Vara Lakshmi Vrata' is celebrated on the Second Friday in the month of Śravaṇā, also called Śawan(in Hindi), which corresponds to the English months of July–August. In 2012 Varalakshmi Vratham Date is 27th July 2012 pics of pooja in our house :)
